I was invited to The View to build a Snow City over the span of three days. The construction took place from February 16 - February 18, 2017. The first day I arrived there was substantial snow snow on the ground and it was still falling. They brought out heavy equipment and cleared a space 20' x 20' in 30 minutes and I was able to get to work immediately. I used the first day for setup. I constructed the entire Snow City the second day which spanned into the night. The third day I was there by 6:00 am and started photographing around 8:00 am. The weather quickly warmed up and the city was melting significantly by midday.
